The Point on each Auger will hit the ground first, and it will keep it steady when you are digging up hard ground. It is also a minimal distance between the digging blade start and the point, so auger drill bit will start working on hard ground without having to push down hard.
USING INSTRUCTIONS & SIZES:
Urban Deco Garden Bulb Planter use a 5/8-inch or larger drill on low (slow) speed, drill into soil or applicable landscape straight down 12 inches, and lift out of hole; 18V or greater drill recommended; For cordless drills a 14V drill minimum is recommended; Keep auger clean from soil and debris when not in use.
Depending on how wide and how deep you are looking for, then you have a choice of 2 Auger Drill Heads, Set: 4cm wide x 22cm long or Set 2: 8cm wide x 30cm long.
